Global CEO Alliance (GCEOA) is an international Non-Governmental Organization NGO) working in 35 cities across six continents with one call to action – to bring about shared sustainability and transformative impact through expert, innovative, and sustainable solutions. Through the years, GCEOA has partnered with various UN agencies, including UNITAR, UN-Habitat, UNDP, UNCTAD, and UNEP, to implement their various programs aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). GCEOA has partnered with these agencies in various capacities – as implementing program partners, data platform providers, course development and delivery partner, and business and industry expert advisor, among others.
UN ECOSOC Accreditation
GCEOA has been granted consultative status by the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as it is able to demonstrate that its programs of work are of direct relevance to and promote the objectives of the UN. This ECOSOC status allows an NGO to participate in the work of the UN in various ways, including attendance of meetings, oral presentations, submission of written statements, consultations, networking, and advocacy.
